Most people who think of holiday parties tend to think of sweaters, awkward small talk, and holiday songs on repeat. You may have your own opinion, but to us that sounds terrible. However, thanks to ALT AZ 93-3 all of us “grinches” can be festive in our own way. ALT AZ, Arizona's leading rock and alternative radio station & news source, has their annual Ugly Sweater Holiday Party which also donates a portion of its proceeds to charity. ALT AZ 93-3 invites guests to dress up as festive as possible turning this into a holiday concert that replaces the mind numbing holiday jingles with songs that make up the current and past rock scene.
ALT AZ’s Ugly Sweater Holiday Party featured a stacked line-up of Sleeping With Sirens, The Struts, and Rise Against. Each band coming from a different segment of the rock scene; with Sleeping With Sirens song “Legends” becoming Team USA’s Olympic song, The Struts U.K. radio friendly Rolling Stones esque sound, and then powerhouse Rise Against who just released their 8th studio album “Wolves”.
Below are some photos and videos recapping our night of singing, bouncing, and laughing with the Phoenix music community.
