The Technicolors "Turn Into Blue" - Summer Tour ‘19

For Fans Of: Cage The Elephant, The Strokes, The Black Keys, The Fratellis, Eagles Of Death Metal

Genre: Alternative Rock, Garage Rock, Punk, Indie

Returning to the live stage for the first time since the start of 2019, The Technicolors hit the road to kick off their Turn Into Blue Summer Tour, which plays June 4th through June 28th. While taking time away from playing shows, the quartet has self-released numerous singles: “Turn Into Blue”, “Hurt So Bad”, “Shotgun Betty”, and most recently “I’m Not the One”.

Sonically reminiscent of bands that flourished in the garage rock and punk revival, yet perfectly intertwined with hypnotic groove-centric beats, The Technicolors have an identifying texture that is familiar to fans, and ear-catching to new listeners. The catchy grunginess is displayed in their heavily distorted leads, gritty bass lines, frequent melodic riffs that shine through in Brit rock style, and lead singer Brennan Smiley’s impressive vocal range.

Electrifying, aggressive, and authentically passionate only begin to describe the tangible energy The Technicolors create with their live audiences. The Technicolors line-up consists of Brennan Smiley (lead vocals, guitar), Sean Silverman (guitar, keys, backing vocals), Nico (bass), and Austin Scates (drums). Between the four musicians on stage, their live sets remain a standout of any bill or festival. From their time on festivals and tour bills,

The Technicolors have shared the stage with bands such as The Maine, The Wrecks, Real Friends, Coast Modern, and Night Riots.
