Only The Good is the debut single from itchibite that comes alongside a new music video. Only The Good is just over 4 minutes of electro tinged, piano laden progressive rock. Pulling influence from a blend of electronica, neo-noir aesthetics, & alternative rock similar to Muse. itchibite delivers a fresh new sound different from what you typically see in the Pop Rock / Alt Rock space.
The track is carried by lofty and emotional vocals from Logan Schexnayder that are reminiscent of Ville Valo of HIM. With a variety of bridges and interludes similar to the A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out era of Panic! At The Disco. itchibite’s debut single displays the bands ability to write a complex song infused with electronica, operatic dramatics, and a sci-fi esque landscape while avoiding “clusterfuck” territory of overcomplicating a song.
