Premiere: Hypnotic Debut Video From slip "the patient"

On Super Tuesday in the US, Los Angeles-born artist slip (aka Taylor Brown) releases his debut music video for "the patient," the lead track from his debut album 'the cost' which is out now. Photos by Zane Roessell.
slip teamed up with director Chanel Williams to produce something insidious and foreboding — an off-kilter glimpse into an economic dystopia ravaged by late stage capitalism run amok. In a press release about the new single and video Brown says "I'm releasing this video on Super Tuesday to stress the fact that we're in an immensely crucial junction in our shared history as human beings. We can choose to push for a more fair and just world, but we have to do it now. We must immediately reverse the exponentially worsening consolidation of wealth, power, and technology amongst the elite few. This video is a horrifying take on how bad it could get".
slip's self-released debut album 'the cost' is out now. It was co-produced and mixed by Jules de Gasperis and mastered by Howie Weinberg.
